Can't put it down myself, and my children are all grown up!

I received "On the Road to Independence" on Saturday and could not wait to start reading it. It is just as wonderful as the first two books in the series. They are so easy to read and so interesting. I homeschooled for 17 years and was so excited to incorporate the first two books with my last homeschooled child. Any history texts up to that point, whether Christian or not, had been so hard to follow. They just seemed like forced reading to get the facts, but this series makes you want to keep reading to find out what happens next. My children are now grown, but I will be watching for each new book that becomes available until I complete the series. I will have trustworthy references for American history no matter for what reason. Thank you for number 3 in the series. I look forward to future publications.

About the Title: The third volume of our American history textbook series, To Pledge Allegiance, is available at last! You won't be disappointed for the wait. This volume continues with the Great Awakening and its powerful effect on America, extensively covers the War of Independence, and concludes with the presidential election of 1800, which has been called the Jeffersonian Revolution. Just as in the first two volumes, On the Road to Independence continues to teach the significance of events and the worldviews that shaped them. The text's pages are filled with wonderful color images and lively sidebars. The time line graphic keeps the student focused on the historical time period. The acknowledgment of God and His providence is evident throughout America's formation. On the Road to Independence attempts to show this truth in events, documents, speeches, acts, and proclamations, and with men and women who often put their own lives at risk.
