About the Title: Despite increasingly compelling arguments for biblical creation, many still doubt the Bible's clear timescale because, they think, it is impossible for light to have reached Earth in only a few thousand years from stars that are millions of light-years away. This is often the ultimate stumbling block to belief in the Bible and even in the gospel itself.

Positively, the answer to the creationists' starlight problem "falls out" of the same equations that, in the process, do away with many of the props for big bang thinking. Inspired by the pioneering creationist physicist D. Russell Humphreys, and building on the work of secular cosmologist Moshe Carmeli, physics professor John Hartnett employs the evidence which demands another revolution in cosmological physics.

The main text is easily digestible for the intelligent layperson, with a supporting series of technical appendices for the specialist.

Endorsements:

Once in a generation comes something so new and so important that the contributors are remembered for generations to come. Carmeli and Hartnett, I predict, will be two of those names that take their place amongst the great names in physics. Carmeli, because he extended Einstein's theory of relativity to include the expansion of space, and Hartnett, because he took Carmeli's work and demonstrated the astounding conclusions that arise from it when the universe is viewed from the biblical perspective. The idea that God created the universe in six days just a few thousand years ago is now not only intellectually respectable, it's a far better explanation for what we observe than its competitors. ~Alex Williams, Former consultant to the United Nation's International Atomic Energy Agency

Having long followed the various creationist attempts to explain how we can see distant starlight in a universe that is a few thousand years old, I believe we are witnessing a bright new dawn in 'creation physics.' Some of the revelations in this book are simply stunning and all the more exciting because the author has had a number of his papers on the new physics published in reputable secular journals. This book is a tremendous example of 'thinking God's thoughts after Him' (usually attributed to the great creationist astronomer Johannes Kepler) and I heartily commend it. ~Philip Bell, Scientist, speaker and CEO of Creation Ministries International (UK/Europe)
