Please carefully review the following information.
Orders for in-stock items ship from our Atlanta warehouse a minimum of 2 - 4 business days after the order is received. Occasionally, due to an unprecedented amount of orders for an item or because of a vendor's processing delays, a temporary backorder may cause an additional 4-7 business days in-house. We attempt to quickly inform each customer of these situations.
Please submit one inquiry and allow 24-48 business hours for a response; multiple inquiries may increase response time and/or result in duplication.
Due to limited staff and to ensure timely
processing of each order, we are unable to combine separately placed
orders or to add additional items to a submitted order.
Sale pricing and discount codes are for new orders only and cannot be applied to previously placed orders or to orders placed after the sale/code expiration date. Coupon codes must be entered at time of purchase to be applied.
American Vision recommends UPS shipping options, which offer an in-transit time of fewer than 8 business days and allow tracking capabilities to ensure your order is delivered. We understand the cost is slightly higher to provide you these benefits, but we strongly urge you to avoid the risks of USPS. Please Note: Please allow a minimum of 12 business days for your order to arrive, per our in-house and in-transit estimates. Please provide an order number should you submit an inquiry after 12 business days.
American Vision strongly recommends avoiding USPS shipping options due to the large percentage of undelivered shipments reported. Orders placed using less reliable forms of USPS shipping do so at their own risk. In-transit time with USPS shipping options can be 10-30 days, regardless of USPS estimates. Orders placed after 11/16/09 of $50 or more include insurance coverage. If your order is not received after 30-35 days, you may contact us for your Insurance ID in order to proceed with issuing a claim and request for reimbursement with the post office. Warning: A large percentage of USPS shipments are reported to us as undelivered. **
UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box; if
an order requests UPS shipping and gives a P.O. Box address, the order
will not be delivered. Orders shipped to a customer-provided address that is incorrect or orders Refused upon delivery, causing the package to return to American Vision for reshipment, will incur a $10 recovery and reshipment fee to cover a portion of the costs incurred by American Vision. If an order is no longer desired by the recipient, it is a Return (Return Policy) and should be shipped back to American Vision as a Return to avoid the $10 recovery and reshipment fee incurred from a Refused order.
Free shipping offers will ship via an
American Vision chosen method of shipping and will default to this
method at checkout; if the default method of shipping is changed,
shipping charges will apply.
International shipping options have the cost of insuring the package included due to a higher rate of non-deliveries. If your order using this shipping method should not arrive within 30-35 days, you may contact us for the insurance ID in order to proceed with issuing a claim and request for reimbursement with the post office. We are able to offer international shipping options which allow insurance; due to sizing limitations, flat-rate boxes are not available.
**WARNING: American Vision can no longer financially absorb the costs to reship at no cost orders placed using USPS Priority, First Class, Media Mail or International shipping options which are not delivered. If the order is not delivered, arrangements may be made to reship your order for the cost of shipping via UPS Ground or UPS Standard International.
