American Vision offers flat rates per customer feedback. American Vision absorbs 30-50% of the costs; we do not inflate rates. Actual cost rates are based on weight, not price. We are unable to use Media Mail extensively due to significant losses endured from previous use of this unreliable, unguaranteed method. Flat rate shipping rates available for the contiguous United States. We do not ship to P. O. Boxes due to the high cost (USPS charges $14-16 average for an average weight shipment to a POB).
Orders for in-stock items ship from our
Atlanta
warehouse a minimum of 1 - 4 business days after order is received. Occasionally,
due to an unprecedented number of orders or vendor delays, a temporary
backorder may result in an additional 7 - 9 business days in-house. We make an effort to promptly
provide information concerning backorder status and ETA. Orders containing a preorder will ship when the preorder is available.
All shipping methods available for the delivery zip code will
appear on the shipping option page during checkout for you to select
your choice. Click to view real-time rates through UPS and USPS.
Sale pricing and discount codes are for
new orders only and cannot be
applied
to previously placed orders or to orders placed after the sale/code
expiration
date. Coupon codes must be entered at time of purchase to be applied.
Due to limited staff and to ensure timely processing of each order, we
are
unable to combine separately placed orders or add additional items to a
submitted order.
Please submit one inquiry and allow 24 - 48 business hours for a response;
multiple inquiries may increase response time and/or result in duplication. Please provide an order number should you
submit an inquiry.
Please provide physical shipping address. Due to higher costs of shipping to a P.O. Box, we are no longer able to accept P. O. Boxes as a shipping address.
American Vision strongly recommends avoiding USPS shipping options due to
the large percentage of undelivered, tardy or damaged shipments reported. Orders placed using
USPS shipping do so at their own risk. In-transit time with USPS shipping
options can be 10-30 days, regardless of USPS estimates. If your order is not
received after 30-35 days, please contact your local carrier and/or post
office. Shipping rates are calculated on weight from our zip code to delivery zip code and include required insurance. Warning: A large percentage of USPS shipments are reported as
undelivered. American Vision cannot reship orders at no charge which selected USPS shipping options.**
Due
to sizing limitations, flat-rate boxes are not a viable option.
The following situations will incur a $10 fee to cover a portion of the costs
incurred by American Vision:
- Orders
shipped to a customer-provided incorrect address, resulting in necessary
changes for delivery or return to
American Vision for reshipment
- In-Transit
changes to the delivery address or estimated delivery date
- Orders
Refused upon delivery (An order no longer desired by recipient is a Return;

Offers stating free shipping or flat rate will ship via an American
Vision chosen method of shipping and will default to this method at checkout;
if the default method of shipping is altered, shipping charges will apply.
International
shipping rates include insurance due to a higher rate of non-deliveries. If
your order does not arrive within 30-35 days, you may contact us for the
insurance ID to proceed with issuing a claim and request for
reimbursement with the post office. All available International shipping methods will appear on the shipping option page during checkout.
**WARNING: American Vision cannot absorb costs to reship orders placed choosing USPS Priority, First Class, Media Mail or International shipping methods which do
not deliver or deliver a damaged box. If your order is not delivered, we can provide proof of shipment and suggest contacting your local post office for package. We are unable to offer Media Mail as a shipping option outside of nearby surrounding states due to the high rate of non-delivery, damage and in-transit delays.
