Please carefully review the following information. By placing your order, you acknowledge your agreement and adherence to the following guidelines.

A third-party fulfillment center processes orders for shipment. This company also fulfills orders for 5-6 other companies. This transition has allowed us to better serve you with low prices, while maintaining good stewardship of the resources provided to us as a non-profit ministry.

Shipping Rates

American Vision absorbs 30-50% of shipping costs to allow flat rates as a courtesy to our customers; we do not inflate rates. Flat rates are available on most items to street addresses in the 48 contiguous United States. If you live outside of the 48 U.S. states or have a P.O. Box address, please select the appropriate rate (Flat Rates will not apply).

Shipping Options

Due to continually increasing rates, the USPS now costs nearly as much or sometimes even more than UPS to most US street addresses. USPS also does not guarantee delivery time-frame, and will often state the package delivered though not in receipt by recipient and will refuse to reimburse. We continually experience this, and recommend avoiding USPS to ensure your order is received and in a timely manner. For those who select Flat Rates or USPS options, your order will ship through a third party postal consolidation company, which increases the rate of delivery and the in-transit tracking will be conducted by them (not USPS.com).

Media Mail
We are unable to use Media Mail extensively due to significant losses endured from previous use of this unreliable, unguaranteed method. USPS will not reimburse if the order is listed as delivered, even if it was not received by the recepient. Thank you for understanding why UPS is the preferred, recommended and most frequently used option.

USPS Options
American Vision strongly recommends avoiding USPS shipping options
due to the large percentage of undelivered, tardy or damaged shipments reported. Orders placed choosing USPS shipping methods do so at their own risk and are not subject to reshipment or reimbursement by American Vision. In-transit time with USPS shipping options can be 10-30 days, regardless of USPS estimates. If your order is not received after 20-30 days, please contact us for tracking number so you can provide it to your local carrier and/or post office for tracing. Warning: A large percentage of USPS shipments are reported as delivered and USPS denies claims, even if recipient does not receive order. American Vision cannot reship orders at no charge which selected USPS shipping options. Please select an alternate method whenever possible.**

Flat Rate Boxes
Due to sizing & weight limitations, flat-rate boxes are not a viable option for most resources and are not used.

Our Flat Rates
Flat rate shipping options are available for the contiguous United States and will ship via our choice of method (typically UPS). All shipping methods available for the delivery zip code will appear during checkout for you to select your choice. Please note we can not ship flat rate to P. O. Boxes.

P. O. Boxes
If your only shipping address is to a P.O. Box, please select a USPS shipping method, but please use this only if you have absolutely no other address. If a USPS method is not chosen and a P. O. Box Shipping Address is given, your account will be billed the additional $10 to cover a portion of the costs that American Vision will be charged to ship your order to the P. O. Box.

Shipping Address

Please provide physical shipping (street) address. Orders shipped to a customer-provided incorrect address, resulting in necessary changes for delivery or return to American Vision for reshipment or in-transit changes to the delivery address or estimated delivery date will result in an additional $10 fee to cover a portion of the costs absorbed by American Vision to do so.

P. O. Boxes
If your only shipping address is to a P.O. Box, please select a USPS shipping method, but please use only if you have absolutely no other address. If a USPS method is not chosen and a P. O. Box Shipping Address is given, your account will be billed the additional $10 to cover a portion of the costs that American Vision will be charged to ship your order to the P. O. Box.

Processing Timeframe

Orders for in-stock items typically ship from the Atlanta-based fulfillment center 1 - 5 business days after order is received.  

Backorders / Preorders
Occasionally, due to an unprecedented number of orders or vendor delays, a temporary backorder may result in an additional 10 - 15 business days prior to shipment.
Orders containing a preorder or backorder will ship as quickly as possible upon the preorder or backordered item becoming available. All orders ship upon availability of all items, in as few shipments as possible. If you prefer to receive the available portion of your order ahead of preorder items, please select the shipping method "ship items as available" (additional shipping charges apply).

We make an effort to promptly provide information concerning preorder/backorder status and ETA which may be posted on the item description for your review. 

All shipping methods (2-Day, 3-Day, Overnight, Ground, Priority, Media, First Class) indicate an in-transit once shipped time-frame. This does not include our stated in-warehouse processing time-frame. Please consider this when selecting your shipping method -- if an item is required within a certain time period, please add the in-transit time-frame to the in-house time-frame for an estimated date of arrival.

Changes

Due to limited staff, 3rd party warehouse facilities and to ensure timely processing of each order, we are unable to combine separately placed orders, add additional items to a submitted order or modify the order in any manner once the order has been submitted. Please check your order and address information carefully to ensure accuracy prior to submitting. 

Sale Pricing & Discount Codes

Sale pricing and discount codes are for new orders only and cannot be applied to previously placed orders or to orders placed after the sale/code expiration date. Coupon codes must be entered at time of purchase to apply; if not applied during checkout, store credit for the amount may be requested. Email advertisiments for special pricing or sales are valid for one week from the original send date unless otherwise specified. Only one coupon code per order can be applied. We do not offer price matching. Should an item purchased within 7 days of a lower price taking effect, a store credit for the difference in price can be requested within 7 days.

Customer Service

Should you have a question or concern, please submit 1 courteous inquiry using the contact form below and allow 24 - 48 business hours for a response; multiple inquiries may increase response time and/or result in duplication. Please provide an order number (if applicable) and all relevant information to allow quicker response. Our phone line is for new order placement which cannot be placed online only, please.

International Shipping

All available International shipping methods will appear on the shipping option page during checkout.

Customs/Import Fees
Rates do not include any charges for customs clearance, brokerage fees, duties or import taxes, only for the shipping from the US to the country of delivery. Any additional customs, duties, brokerage or import tax fees levied on the package by the destination country will be the sole responsibility of the recipient. To ship a package internationally, customs declaration forms are required. The country of destination may charge additional fees for purchasing from another country. Please direct concerns about shipping fees and import taxes, etc. to your country officials and to shipping companies as we have no ability to change the laws of your country or waive fees put in place by your country or to lower the cost of shipping to your country. 

Rates
International shipping rates are actual cost. These are the rates put in place by the United States Postal Service and United Parcel Service. DHL and FedEx are the only other options and we do not use because of their higher cost. Please direct concerns about shipping rates to the companies that set the rates in place - we have no ability to change or alter these rates and we will be charged this amount, and in turn must pass that charge on to the ordering party.

**WARNING: American Vision cannot absorb costs to reship orders placed choosing USPS Priority, First Class, Media Mail or International which do not deliver or deliver a damaged box. If your order is not delivered, we can provide proof of shipment and suggest contacting your local post office for package. We recommend using ONLY UPS methods of shipment (which are guaranteed and reimbursable/reshippable).

If you are not completely satisfied with your order:

You may return paperback or hardback book products in undamaged and unaltered, sellable condition within 30 days of receipt for refund (package well to avoid damage in transit; boxes only, no envelopes, please). We will issue a store credit for the full amount or a refund less 15% fee on the price of items that meet the above conditions upon receipt. Items returned in damaged, altered or unsellable condition may be eligible for a partial credit. Removed shrink-wrap is considered altered product. 

Please Note

Due to the nature of these items, Audio/Visual products (DVDs and CDs), products purchased as Damaged or Clearance and downloadable E-products (including but not limited to MP3s, PDFs, E-Books) are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

If your order is damaged or incorrect:

Please use the Contact Us form for situation specific instructions. If item return is required, we will issue postage-paid label. Damaged or incorrect items shipped back without customer service issued postage-paid label will not be eligible for shipping reimbursement.

Return Instructions

To ensure accurate and efficient processing of your return, please complete the following steps in full:

 1. Package securely in a box with ample packing material (no envelopes, please).

Please Note
Shipping insurance and delivery confirmation are at individual's discretion and are non-refundable. Please allow 6-8 weeks to receive store credit or refund. If your order is damaged or incorrect, customer relations will issue a postage-paid label if a return is required. If a return is not required by customer relations and a postage-paid label is not issued, but the receiver opts to return the item, shipping costs incurred are non-refundable.

Refused packages are not accepted as returns and will result in a $10 recovery and reshipment fee.

Returns received with damaged product due to improper return packaging may be eligible for partial store credit. Unopened Audio/Visual products may be eligible for store credit, at the discretion of American Vision staff.

PLEASE NOTE: Submission of an order through American Vision indicates full compliance and agreement with and to all policies as stated above.
