About the Speaker: Dr. Gary North received his Ph.D. in history from the University of California, Riverside in 1972. A conservative activist since 1956, Gary served as Congressman Ron Paul’s research assistant in 1976. He supported Barry Goldwater for Vice President in 1960. He began writing full time in 1967 and is the author of 47 books including The War on Mel Gibson: The Media versus The Passion and Crossed Fingers: How Liberals Captured the Presbyterian Church. He has written for these conservative and libertarian outlets: National Review, American Spectator, Modern Age, The Freeman, and LewRockwell.com.
