There are people in America who are convinced that there is an Establishment which has links with Britain links going back prior to the creation in 1921 of the Council on Foreign Relations, an offshoot of Britain's Royal Institute of Economic Affairs. They are convinced that the major political decisions since at least 1913 have been sanctioned by this Establishment.
